“His Aunt Jobiska made him drink
Lavender water tinged with pink.
For she said, ' the world in general knows
There's nothing so good for a Pobble's toes!'”

Historic Plough Tavern
Each May through November, in cooperation with the York Heritage Trust, the Mason-Dixon Unit will be growing and tending a kitchen garden on the grounds of the historic Plough Tavern, 157 W. Market Street, York, PA 17401. We are all excited that we will be able to show to and share with the public how a kitchen garden would have been in York City in the early 1800s.
